[Feature Request] RTX Interactive Path tracing 16-bit PtWorldPos AOVs not precise enough

I’m trying to use PtWorldPos AOV from the RTX Interactive path tracer for gsplat training

Request:

The PtWorldPos AOV uses 16-bit encoding and it’s not precise enough for larger scenes. See example of the Isaac warehouse:

Can we request an opt-in 32-bit encoding option similar to the depth AOV?

Reproduction Steps:

  1. Download & launch Omniverse USD Composer
  2. Download Downloadable Asset Packs — Omniverse USD and open Showcases_Content_NVD@10011/Samples/Showcases/2023_2_1/IsaacWarehouse/IsaacWarehouse.usd in Omniverse USD Composer
  3. Set the viewport renderer to RTX - Interactive (Path Tracing)
  4. Set Render Settings > Common > View > Debug View > Render Target to `PT AOV World Position*
  5. See that we are not getting the expected smooth range of world position values
