Activating optional features for OAuth apps

You can test new optional features for your OAuth apps.

Activating optional features for OAuth apps

  1. Navigate to your account settings.

    • For a GitHub App owned by a personal account, in the upper-right corner of any page, click your profile photo, then click Settings.
    • For a GitHub App owned by an organization, in the upper-right corner of any page, click your profile photo, then click Your organizations. Then, to the right of the organization, click Settings.

  2. In the left sidebar, click Developer settings.

  3. In the left sidebar, click OAuth apps.

  4. Select the OAuth app you want to enable an optional feature for.

  5. In the settings sidebar, click Optional features.

  6. Next to the optional feature you want to enable for your app, click Opt-in.
