Google Studio Build App Preview Does Not Work

Hi Everyone,

From 2 days ago, I’m encountering errors when I want to run my apps. It’s on all apps and the preview does not work. I cleared the cache but still have the same issue. Can anyone help me?

Hi @Soroush_Alimohammadi ,

Welcome to the Forum!
Thanks for reporting this issue. Could you please share the specific error message you’re seeing?
Also, could you try logging out and back into AI Studio to see if that resolves it?

@Mrinal_Ghosh
Here is the error.
“Failed to load the app. Try reloading it.”
I relogged it and it didn’t work

I have had this same issue since Monday afternoon. :frowning: I hope we can have a fix as soon as possible.

Same issue. Have been troubleshooting like crazy, thought I was going crazy. I guess it’s a system wide issue? I can’t be the only one? My older apps work though?

Please Help…

Please check if your older apps work after clearing the cache and browsing history for the past 7 days. I hit this issue on Monday afternoon, and I thought that my deployed apps were working, but after deleting browsing history and cache memory for the past 7 days, the apps refused to load. I still have on a tablet the app in the browser with a shortcut on the screen, and it loads and works fine, but i didn’t clear the browsing history and cache . I can assume it’s still loaded in the browser. On any other devices or AI Studio, the app and app copies refuse to load. Maybe you found a workaround that is working.

My old apps are not working. Yesterday, I cleared the cache, and they started working. But today, nothing works on any browsers. They work on my phone but PC, no!

:frowning: it seems we are stuck. Unfortunately it happened about two weeks ago for two days and back then I managed to move the app in Firebase Studio but lost all the AI functionality which in my case was the key of the app. Also I made and extra cost for Firebase of $75 in one day just to set up and make the app work. After two days AI Studio started working again.

Yesterday I tried again moving the app in Firebase because I have a presentation to make to my colleagues, showing the app core functions, and I ended up again with another $43 extra cost for a non-functional app.

If you have AI functionality within the app , don’t bother trying to rebuild the app somewhere else, while you will end up with a non-functional app and extra cost for other services.

Yes, I’m having the same issue. Since yesterday November 06, 2025 , I realized none of my apps can do a preview. But if I go into the section where persons have uploaded their own app for the public to view, I’m able to see those, but my personal apps that I build is not able to have a preview.

I have also been facing the same problem since yesterday. I tried everything- cache cleaning, logging out, different accounts, but the same result. What should I do?

I just tried building a test app which normally would have built just fine, but it fails to load. And that has been consistent with pretty much all of my apps.

Is this what everyone else is seeing? Why hasn’t Google AI Studios made some kind of an announcement?

Still trying to troubleshoot.

Thanks,
Dan

What if a company like Google doesn’t respond? So, how will we develop our apps?

Hi everyone, If you are using ad-blockers, please deactivate it. I did and it is working for me now.
I’ll update you if it stops working again

I tried that and Preview still is not loading.

There was a post here on the forum suggesting to use opera Gx with it’s built in VPN. I just tried it and manage to get back to my functional apps in AI Studio. I am located in Romania and I choose the Europe server. After the commercials i get on YouToube I think the VPN it is routed through Netherlands. I don’t know how to make it available in my location without VPN, but it is the first step into fixing this issue. This is unfortunate, While I was a fan of Chrome. Hopefully the Google guys can fix this. Here is the solution suggestion to the errors I got, from Gemini: Here’s a breakdown of what those console logs mean.

The logs show a few different problems, but the main reason the app is failing to load is due to a CORS policy error and missing files (404 errors).

:stop_sign: Critical Loading Errors (Why the App Failed)

These are the most important errors to fix:

  1. CORS Error

    • The Log: Access to script at 'https://ai.studio/index.tsx' from origin '...scf.usercontent.goog' has been blocked by CORS policy...

    • What it means: Your app (running on ...scf.usercontent.goog) tried to fetch a script from a different domain (ai.studio). As a security measure, browsers block this unless the ai.studio server explicitly allows it by sending an Access-Control-Allow-Origin header in its response.

    • How to Fix: This is a server-side issue. You must configure the server at ai.studio to send the correct CORS headers to allow requests from your app’s origin.
