Hello, so overall, i have this dilemma, i’m making a game and it’s very simple, i can’t record videos on social media, nor i can really advertise, then how can i create community that will grow from scratch? if i don’t have any connections or smth? how hard is it if i have game development skills already?
I’ve never made successfull game really, only scripting projects that were “for fun” but i want to start with making games, i appreciate all help
Good luck. You’ll need to show your stuff on social media or spend robux to advertise, and even then, you gotta worry if people are intrigued when they join..
So what can i do? like make more games? show them to friends? and it should grow?
One thing I’m doing myself and I also recommend u do is share the game with ur friends and/or email streamers/youtuber with your game so they can try it out and make content on it. If the game is interesting enough they will post it, if it’s boring, repetitive or has huge design flaws, they probably won’t even be replying back.
Currently i’m making tests with few friends, and they gave me some feedback, i guess i must first repair the gameloop, but i’ll definitively try this, thx
