I have been working on a training game for over half a year now and am approaching launch. I don’t know what a good amount is to spend on ads for the first few weeks. Unfortunately, I don’t have a popping social media account or YouTube or anything so ads are the only way I know to get my game out there.
Have any of you had success with ads on a new game? If so, how much did you spend on your first few weeks? Is there a number that the community agreed upon is generally the range a dev should be spending?

I’m not an expert or anything. but generally what I’ve seen is about 20 ad credits. This wont guarantee success of your game. If I’m going to be honest I really think it depends on your quality of the game. (if a games successful its going to be successful.) You also want the right settings for your ad. Such as if this is a pc game or mobile, and also the age rating. All I’m getting at is It really shouldn’t matter how much you put into the game as long as its not too small but I think the sweet spot is usually around 3k - 5k robux or roughly 10-20 ad credits. Don’t be discouraged if your game doesn’t do well at first, games always take a few weeks to get on the algorithm, I also recommend to not spend your entire budget on the first ad. Take some time and experiment a little, test different audiences with a smaller amount and once you feel comfortable try to go for more and more.
