(BLENDER) Weird black artifacts on my model

It happened after i used and applied the mirror modifier and then when i joined the vertecies the black artifacts showed up. How do i fix it?

Note that i dont have any dupliacte vertecies and all the normals face outwards

Can you show us a wireframe view of the models? Also try right clicking the model and press “shade flat” (or something) to get a better look.

shade flat doesnt work it makes my model look unsmooth and low poly

Shade auto smooth.

I’m very tired and I’m trying to articulate.

I believe the issue that you have to recalculate normals.

Might as well also reset scale. If you get back to me later after I sleep, I can explain better how to do these things.

It was to see what the issue is, not to have it stay that way.

Also, it seems like there might be duplicate vertices at those points. Press M > Merge By Distance.

Another way is to go to “Object Data Properties” (the green triangle point thingy). Go to “Geometry Data” and press “Clear Custom Split Normals” (if the button says that, it may say “Add Custom Split Normals”. If it says that then don’t bother clicking it.)

Is this a model you created or one you took and modified?

Its a model from roblox and i modify it, i make my next character

It doesnt work, I fixed it with another way. thanks for the help guys

I’ve had this issue when normals are flipped. Select all the faces then press shift+N and see if that helps

Mind listing the way you used and marking it as the solution?
