A Go CLI to generate ascii-art from images and output in console and save as text/PNG
Supported file formats:
- .gif (single-frame)
- .jpg, .jpeg
- .png
- .webp
You need Go 1.24+ installed.
git clone https://github.com/Brooklyn-Dev/ascii-image-gen.git cd ascii-image-gen go build -o build/bin/ascii-image-gen.exe ./cmd/ascii-image-gen # Run the executable cd build/bin ascii-image-gen.exe- Download the latest release from the Releases page
- Extract the archive to your desired location
- Run the executable
