REImagine Asia
A future powered by the sun, the wind, and the people
We, as people committed to a just and livable future, pledge to stand together for climate justice across Asia. We believe in the power of people and the leadership of communities.
Together, we will:
Together, let’s REImagine Asia.
Take the pledge:
A UN report warns that Asia is heating up twice as fast as anywhere else in the world.
From deadly heatwaves and floods to rising seas and shrinking harvests, the climate crisis is already reshaping life across the continent. And as the world’s most populous region, the stakes here are global.
The hardest hit are the most vulnerable — those who contributed least to the problem. Meanwhile, fossil fuel expansion and false solutions continue to delay real action.
But communities across Asia are not waiting.
They are REImagining what’s possible:
We believe the future of Asia must be built on renewable energy, community power, and international solidarity. As we look ahead to COP30 in Brazil, we raise our voices to say:
Asia is ready. It’s time for institutions and governments to match that readiness.
It’s time to shift financial flows away from harm, and toward the solutions that frontline communities are already building.

Asia stands at the crossroads of increasing climate vulnerability and an unprecedented opportunity to transition to renewable energy. At the heart of this shift are communities, where climate solutions are born, shaped by local wisdom and powered by collective action.
Watch the webinar below and learn more about how we are reimagining Asia’s energy future with concrete actions while the world anticipates this year’s crucial climate talks (COP30) in Brazil. Through organizing grassroots movements, sharing success stories of community-led renewables, and challenging fossil fuel financing, we we will show our leaders what we want: affordable energy, thriving communities, and a safe and livable planet for all.
powered by people, rooted in justice
- REALIZE: Local communities can break fossil fuel dominance through renewable energy cooperatives, sustainable transport, and climate resilience – powered by grassroots action and local expertise. We won’t wait for leaders to catch up – our power is already in our hands.
- REIMAGINE: Community renewables are already working – creating jobs, building resilience, improving lives. When communities share their wins, others replicate them. We will defeat corporate-driven narratives with our own stories of hope.
- REINFORCE: With our collective power and proven solutions, we will push policymakers to end fossil fuel financing and prioritize decentralized, community-led renewable energy. We will show our leaders what’s possible: a safe and livable planet powered by the sun, the wind, and the people.
We believe in a safe climate and a better future — a just, prosperous, and equitable world built with the power of ordinary people.
Through online campaigns, grassroots organizing, and mass public actions, our movement is rising from the bottom up all over the world to hold our leaders accountable. Here’s how we get there:
