I ran the example project just to poke around, but I do not see anything that would suspect this to be a breaking change. The sample project worked the same before and after my changes.
It looks like I may have accidentally removed a project reference to the github actions portion, although it looked like much of that was commented out as is, so I leave that to the maintainer to fix
