doc: Remove obsolete references to weekly releases. This was misleading and often confusing for new users. Leaving the actual weekly release history page for historical reference.

Then I think that is confusing, because go1 refers to both the original "go1 release" and the "go1 specification" as defined in: http://golang.org/doc/go1compat.html and which applies also to subsequent bugfix releases.
