Regarding the follower count on DEV, I believe there are discrepancies between what is displayed to the user and what is actually valid in terms of analytics. Currently, I have over 15,000 followers, but I barely receive any engagement, and a post notification is not being sent to these followers. I am quite amazed to see my followers count being just below 250 in the analytics chart here. Quite shocking, but it explains a lot of questions I had been having about this issue.
