Glitch.com was a hosting site that allowed people to make project in HTML, Node.JS, React, and more, and then host it with a .glitch.me attached to the name, for free. No credit card required. It had a built-in IDE, a preview, and was perfect for people like me to go and program.
However, May 22nd, 2025 marked the day that Glitch announced that they were going to be shutting down there hosting for good.
The community was amazing. They took it like a champ, I also took it like a champ. However, in 4 days (July 8th), all of the sites were going to be taken down. Thousands, and thousands, and thousands and MILLIONS of apps are run.
So, I decided to make a website to Glitch.
https://glitch.mileswk.com/ is a collection of goodbye's from the community. It has teachers, students, programmers, and people who loved Glitch.
