Login to azure portal.
Search for Key vault on the search menu.
Click on create.
Set the required parameters i.e name, region etc.
Click on Review and Create.
After confirming that there are no issues with the key vault, click create.
Now to create the secret, go to the newly created key vault and select secrets from the objects blade.
Click on Generate/Import.
Set the name of the secret and its contents.
There are optional settings that could be adjusted if you wish to do so.
Click create.
