中老铁路云南钢材出口专列首发 助力老挝基建发展
中新网昆明2月23日电 - 中国铁路昆明局集团有限公司23日宣布，中老铁路云南钢材出口专列于22日成功首发。本次专列共运输806吨优质建筑材料，将直接运抵老挝首都万象南站，用于当地水利及工程建设。
Kunming, Feb. 23 (China News Network) - The first China-Laos Railway steel export train departed from Yunnan on February 22, carrying 806 tons of high-quality construction materials that will be directly transported to Vientiane South Station in Laos for local water conservancy and infrastructure projects.
玉溪作为滇中腹地的交通枢纽，同时连接中老铁路和玉河铁路，具有显著的区位优势。当地强大的矿冶产业使玉溪钢材畅销全国，成为区域经济的重要支柱。
As a transportation hub in central Yunnan, Yuxi connects both the China-Laos Railway and Yuxi-Hekou Railway, boasting significant geographical advantages. The region's robust mining and metallurgy industry has made Yuxi steel products popular nationwide, becoming a pillar of the local economy.
云南祺晟集团董事长毛志明表示："此次运输的螺纹钢全部由玉溪本地企业供应。根据我们的市场评估，老挝基建需求旺盛，中国优质建材将有效满足其城市发展需要。钢材跨境专列将成为我们持续发展的重点项目。"
Mao Zhiming, Chairman of Yunnan Qisheng Group, stated: "All the rebar transported this time was supplied by local Yuxi enterprises. Our market research shows strong infrastructure demand in Laos, and China's high-quality building materials can effectively meet their urban development needs. The cross-border steel train will become our key ongoing project."
中老铁路开通两年多来，已累计运输货物3310万吨，其中进出口货物超760万吨。这条高效便捷的铁路通道正日益凸显其战略价值，为两国企业发展和就业创造新机遇，持续释放老挝的发展潜力。
Since its opening over two years ago, the China-Laos Railway has transported 33.1 million tons of cargo, including over 7.6 million tons of import-export goods. This efficient railway corridor is increasingly demonstrating its strategic value, creating new opportunities for enterprise development and employment in both countries while continuously unleashing Laos' development potential.
