Beijing, July 12 (Xinhua) - According to the latest data released by the China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Textiles, China's textile and apparel exports totaled $143.18 billion in the first half of 2024, representing a 1.5% year-on-year increase.

具体来看,纺织品出口增长3.3%,服装出口则与去年持平。从月度数据观察,出口表现呈现波动趋势:1-2月实现两位数增长,3月出现下滑,随后逐步企稳,5月和6月恢复同比增长。

In detail, textile exports grew by 3.3%, while apparel exports remained flat compared to last year. Monthly data shows fluctuating performance: double-digit growth in January-February, a decline in March, followed by gradual stabilization and resumed year-on-year growth in May and June.

以人民币计算,2024年1-6月纺织服装累计出口10171亿元,同比增长4.7%。其中纺织品出口4926.7亿元(增长6.5%),服装出口5244.3亿元(增长3%)。6月单月纺织服装出口1946.3亿元,同比增长1.5%。

In RMB terms, textile and apparel exports totaled 1.0171 trillion yuan from January to June 2024, up 4.7% year-on-year. Textile exports reached 492.67 billion yuan (6.5% growth), while apparel exports were 524.43 billion yuan (3% growth). June alone saw exports of 194.63 billion yuan, a 1.5% increase.
