Hunan Cuisine Goes Global: Food Exports Surge 41.5% in First 8 Months

华声在线9月15日讯（全媒体记者 黄婷婷 通讯员 林俊 徐芊）今日，长沙海关与湖南省食安办联合举办2022年食品安全宣传周湖南省进出口食品安全主题日活动。会上发布的数据显示：2021年湖南省进出口食品总额达385.5亿元，同比增长19.3%；2022年1-8月，进出口食品280亿元，同比增长6.5%，其中出口83.9亿元，同比大幅增长41.5%。

Huasheng Online, September 15 (Reporter Huang Tingting, Correspondents Lin Jun & Xu Qian) Changsha Customs and the Hunan Food Safety Office jointly hosted the 2022 Food Safety Week event focusing on import/export food safety. Data shows: Hunan's food import/export volume reached 38.55 billion yuan in 2021, up 19.3% year-on-year; from January to August 2022, the figure stood at 28 billion yuan (+6.5%), with exports hitting 8.39 billion yuan - a remarkable 41.5% increase.

湖南特色食品在国际市场持续突破：
• 湘茶出口新增非洲乍得（常德绿茶）和不丹（安化黑茶）市场
• 茶籽油获得海关单独税号，衡阳前8月出口24吨
• 麻辣小龙虾预制菜出口约8000万元，同比增长6.6%

Hunan specialty foods are making new international inroads:
• Tea exports expanded to Chad (Changde green tea) and Bhutan (Anhua dark tea)
• Camellia seed oil obtained custom HS code, with Hengyang exporting 24 tons
• Spicy crayfish prepared dishes exported ~80 million yuan (+6.6%)

Meanwhile, premium imported foods are enriching Hunan's market:
• Sept 9: First air-shipped African green coffee beans arrived
• July 7: "Ho Chi Minh-Huaihua" cold chain train delivered 230 tons of Vietnamese dragon fruit

监管保障：
• 全省现有763家食品进口商（新增135家）和490家出口食品企业（新增71家）
• 长沙海关1-8月抽检209批进口食品
• 出口食品企业备案时限从5个工作日压缩至3个

Regulatory Safeguards:
• 763 registered food importers (+135) and 490 export manufacturers (+71) in Hunan
• Changsha Customs conducted 209 import food inspections
• Export enterprise registration processing time reduced from 5 to 3 workdays

数据显示，湖南主要进口乳制品、肉制品，主要出口蔬菜、茶叶等农产品。随着"一带一路"建设推进，湖南食品进出口贸易呈现"优进优出"双向增长的良好态势。

Statistics show Hunan mainly imports dairy/meat products while exporting vegetables, tea and other agricultural products. With Belt & Road initiatives, the province is witnessing quality-driven two-way trade growth in food imports and exports.
