C++ Locale Library - iscntrl



Description

It checks if character is a control character and a control character is a character that does not occupy a printing position on a display.

Declaration

Following is the declaration for std::iscntrl.

C++98

 int iscntrl ( int c ); 

C++11

 int iscntrl ( int c ); 

Parameters

c − Character to be checked, casted to an int, or EOF.

Return Value

It returns a value different from zero.

Exceptions

No-throw guarantee − this function never throws exceptions.
