Product Overview
Cygbot’s CygLiDAR D2 is a compact, solid-state dual-mode ToF LiDAR sensor capable of generating both 2D range maps and 3D point cloud data. With no moving parts, the D2 offers high durability in vibration-prone or harsh indoor environments. Its lightweight design and wide field of view make it well-suited for integration into space-constrained systems such as drones, AMRs, or industrial automation platforms.
The CygLiDAR D2 features a 120° horizontal field of view in both 2D and 3D modes and a 65° vertical field of view for 3D data acquisition. The 2D mode provides a detection range of up to 8 m and operates at a frame rate of 20 Hz, while the 3D mode offers a range of up to 2 m using Dynamic Range Mode (DRM) and operates at 10 Hz. 2D angular resolution is 0.75°, and 3D depth resolution is output at 160×60 pixels. Depth accuracy is specified at < ±1%.
The sensor operates over UART (3.3 V TTL) at baud rates from 57,600 to 3,000,000 bps. A USB-to-UART converter and connector cable are included to support plug-and-play use with Windows PCs. The CygLiDAR Viewer software provides a fast way to visualize 2D and 3D data for evaluation and integration.
