Certificate
This is to certify that the project titled 'Efficiency of a Solar Cell' is my original work.
Introduction
A solar cell is a device that converts light energy into electrical energy using the photovoltaic effect.
Aim
To study the efficiency of a solar cell.
Apparatus Used
Solar cell, multimeter, light source, connecting wires.
Theory
Solar cells operate on the principle of the photovoltaic effect.
Procedure
Connect the solar cell to a multimeter. Expose it to light and note the voltage and current.
Observations
V = 0.6V, I = 100mA, Area = 0.01 m^2, Power = V x I
Calculations
Power Output = 0.06W; Efficiency = (Power Output / Power Input) x 100
Result
Efficiency of the solar cell is approximately 6%.
Conclusion
The experiment successfully demonstrated the working and efficiency of a solar cell.
