ESP8266 GPIO Configuration Guide

GPIO15 must be kept low, GPIO02 must be kept high, and GPIO00 determines the device's mode - high puts it in run mode and low puts it in flash mode. When sleep mode is needed, GPIO16 and RST should be connected so that GPIO16 outputs low to reset the system upon waking up.
