EXT. STREET - AFTERNOON
NATASHA
Selfie apocalypse is slowly but
surely taking over our generation,
with celebrities and even
politicians getting in on the act.
Introducing the story and our REPORTER, NATASHA, the camera
is filming the REPORTERs MOBILE PHONE, which shows our
REPORTER reporting. This then changes to filming just our
REPORTER, as she LOWERS down her MOBILE PHONE.
NATASHA (CONTD)
Theyve gotten so big everyone uses
it. Old, young, and even animals.
However, it has been proven that
77% of uni students are using
Snapchat daily.
Linking to what NATASHA is saying, a MONTAGE of selfie
images come up positioned AROUND NATASHA. These images show
selfies of ICONIC FAMOUS people, such as BARACK OBAMA, the
OSCAR selfie and DAVID CAMERON.
NATASHA (CONTD)
Its recently even made it into the
Oxford Dictionary, defined as a
photograph that one has taken of
oneself, typically one taken with a
smartphone or webcam and shared via
social media.
As NATASHA says the DEFINITION, we see it become WORDED via
GRAPHICS on the bottom of the screen. We see NATASHA walk
TOWARDS the camera (and the camera moving BACKWARDS) SLOWLY,
as she begins to REPORT our story.
NATASHA (CONTD)
And seeing that were talking about
selfies, you cant forget the
dedicated Selfie song
As NATASHA speaks, she GENTLY pulls out her phone and TOUCHES
the middle of her PHONE SCREEN. This then leads to the PHONE
to be turned to face the CAMERA, SHOWING the video to
Chainsmokers - Selfie. After a short MOMENT, this MATCHES
to the SONG and VIDEO itself, as the FILM BRIEFLY continues
to show the SONG and VIDEO. After a few MOMENTS, the VIDEO
becomes EFFECTED and leads to a STOP. The COLOUR of the image
DISAPPEARS, and we HEAR a REWIND sound effect.

NATASHA
With over 330 million Snapchats
taken everyday, 55% of people spend
15 minutes taking and editing the
selfie to perfection - no wonder
why students are always running
late!
Entering a new scene, we now only see a PURPLE background
(the news channels BRANDING) which is then FILLED with TEXT
showing the STATISTICS of selfies in a WHITE coloured FONT.
EXT. STEET - AFTERNOON
NATASHA
So, one of the questions now is are
there people out there who are
addicted to this growing app? Back
to the studio.
Leaving the GRAPHICS scene, we now RETURN back to our
REPORTER who is at the same LOCATION. She is STANDING however
FREQUENTLY moves her HANDS in a CURIOUS way, which links to
her UNANSWERED expression on her FACE.
This will then lead back to the STUDIOS, where the PRESENTER
will introduce the LIVE INTERVIEW of NATASHA and CHARLOTTE,
out interviewee.
EXT.
Once the PRESENTER re-introduces NATASHA and our interviewee,
NATASHA will ask the following questions:

me today Charlotte, and I think
its only right that we end with a

Once all the questions have been answered, NATASHA will then
WRAP up the story by taking a SELFIE of herself and
Charlotte. She will then REPORT back to the STUDIO
