That ends today. Built on our VIO™ 3D architecture, VIO-40K delivers 10 KiloQubits in a compact, chiplet-based design with ultra-high-fidelity interconnects — enabling far greater compute power per dollar and per watt than any other architecture. As our CEO Matt Rijlaarsdam put it: “QuantWare’s VIO finally removes the QPU scaling barrier, paving the way for economically relevant quantum computers. With VIO-40K, we’re giving the entire ecosystem access to the most powerful, hyper-scaled quantum processor architecture ever.” We’re building a network of ecosystem partners around VIO-40K, and are proud to announce that NVIDIA NVQLink is now part of the VIO-40K ecosystem. NVQLink connects hyperscaled quantum computers via low-latency links with classical AI systems, and provides a developer interface via the NVIDIA CUDA-Q platform. Together, they form the foundation for the next generation of hybrid Quantum-Classical supercomputing centers. To support this new era of scale, we are building Kilofab, the world’s first dedicated Quantum Open Architecture quantum processor fab, opening in 2026 in Delft. Reservations for VIO-40K are open now, with first shipments in 2028.
