Revealed: the results of the largest survey of current PMs in India. Ankit Shukla and I collected data from over 1,019 PMs. We found that average PM CTC grows from 17 Lakhs per annum as an APM to 130 Lakhs as a CPO. Of course, there's some bands around all of this. Here's the total comp 25th to 75th percentiles: Associate PM: 14 to 20 lakhs PM: 18 to 38 lakhs SPM: 37 to 62 lakhs PPM/GPM: 62 to 97 lakhs Director: 61 to 133 lakhs VP: 77 to 135 lakhs CPO: 52 to 194 lakhs But it's interesting to look at the average. For instance, here's the average split between Fixed/Variable/ESOPs Associate PM: 82%/ 11%/ 6% PM: 81%/ 6%/ 13% SPM: 76%/ 9%/ 14% PPM/GPM: 74%/ 13%/ 14% Director: 65%/ 7%/ 28% VP: 65%/ 7%/ 28% CPO: 55%/ 7%/ 38% The ramp up in variable and ESOPs is very dramatic at senior levels, from 17% to 45% of total compensation. And that leads to huge increases in Total CTC. For more details - mediums, locations, company, and other cuts - check out the full report: https://lnkd.in/djbctbAV

How would you rate your RCM operation right now? ✅ Excellent 💡 Good ⚙️ Needs work, but claims are going out 🚨 Or… it feels like a mess that might need an audit Operational excellence doesn’t always make headlines, but it determines everything — from cash flow to team morale. In revenue cycle management, we talk a lot about data, technology, and results, but rarely about how those results are built, or who is building them. Behind every metric are hundreds of operational decisions that determine whether your revenue cycle runs smoothly or constantly feels like it’s one step behind. Operational excellence is about building a structure that actually works, one that’s aligned, consistent, and resilient when things get messy (and in RCM, they always do). If you’ve ever found yourself wondering why the same issues keep resurfacing, or why performance dips despite good people and tools, this one’s worth reading. Sometimes the real problem isn’t what’s visible, it’s what’s quietly missing beneath the surface. Shout out to all of the operators working behind the scenes to make things happens. 👏 👉 The Invisible Power Behind Great Revenue Cycles — link in comments. #RevenueCycleManagement #RCM #HealthcareFinance #OperationalExcellence #Leadership #ClaimsTheory

✨ "A Step Forward in Healthcare Quality Management! I'm happy to share the completion of the powerful CPSQ webinar: 'From Data to Decisions: Visualising KPIs Effectively.' It was a masterclass in using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive tangible quality improvements and patient safety initiatives. A big thank you to Ms. S. Pichammal (Manager- Quality) Sugah Healthcorp - Healthcare vertical of ZOHO for sharing her expertise, and to Dr. Ankita Sengupta (Senior Executive – Quality, Narayana Health City) for expertly moderating this informative session. The program provided a deeper understanding of the NABH KPI Classification across all data types—Attribute Data (for Compliance/Reliability), Count/Discrete Data (for Event Occurrences), and Continuous Data (for Time/Ratios). Crucially, I gained a refined approach to selecting the precise chart (Line, Control, Bar, Scatter, Pie) to turn raw data into actionable intelligence, while also focusing on avoiding common visualization mistakes. I'm grateful for these experiences that strengthen my practical understanding of quality management and its application in delivering better patient outcomes. #HealthcareQuality #DataVisualization #PatientSafety #QualityImprovement #HealthcareLeadership #CPSQ #HealthcareAnalytics #DataToDecisions #KPIs #NABH"

When I Joined a Client’s monthly RCM Review as a “Guest”- What I Learned Was.. Eye-Opening! A few weeks ago, one of our clients asked me to join their weekly RCM meeting. A call they were still having with their previous billing vendor during the transition phase. Honestly, I thought it would be a quick observation. But what I saw was… eye-opening. The discussion started with denial percentages and unresolved claims, and within minutes, it turned into a loop of counter-questions and blame exchanges. The billing team kept circling around pending client inputs; instead of showing data-driven insights like denial trends, RCA, or payer-specific issues. 🔻No root cause analysis. 🔻No performance dashboards. 🔻No reimbursement or denial trend overview. What surprised me even more, the call was attended by associates and supervisors, but no manager or department head. When asked, we were told “they join only if needed.” And to top it off- no visual reporting, no QA metrics, no improvement roadmap. That’s when I realized again: “Processes don’t fail. Oversight does.” That’s a line I remind my teams often; and it applies to every successful RCM setup. If your RCM meetings don’t: 🔹Highlight key performance metrics (AR, denial %, first-pass rate) 🔹Discuss RCA and trend-based improvements 🔹Include leadership accountability and data visibility 🔹Drive actionable process improvements …then you’re not reviewing performance, you’re just reviewing numbers. Would love to hear your thoughts.. 😊 #RCM #RCMLeadership #MedicalBilling #GrowthStrategy

💬 Low RCM Rates ≠ Low Efficiency In Revenue Cycle Management, price doesn’t always define performance. A lower rate can still deliver exceptional efficiency when backed by: ✅ Smart workflows ✅ Experienced teams ✅ Automation and analytics Many assume “low rates” mean compromised quality — but in RCM, it often means optimized operations and lean management. Efficiency isn’t about how much you charge; it’s about how much value you deliver per claim. #RCM #HealthcareFinance #RevenueCycleManagement #Efficiency #HealthcareInnovation
