- [Instructor] Since backup is a repetitive activity, we will be scheduling the backup automatically via using the OS Scheduler. So in this case, I'm using the Ubuntu, so I'll be using Crontab for that. If you are using Windows or if you're using any other operating system, depending upon that, use the scheduler of that operating system and then schedule the backup. So, it can vary depending upon the business requirement. It can be daily, it can be weekly, it can be at multiple times of the day. It really depends. Normally we suggest to take the full backups weekly once and the incremental or the differential backups daily. So, currently I'm going to show in the demo how to schedule the daily full backup. So, currently I am on my database backup server and I'll quickly switch to Postgres user.
