CLEAR and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services are taking a major step toward a national healthcare system that’s easier, safer, and more interoperable for every patient. Beginning in 2026, CLEAR1 will power secure identity verification on Medicare.gov — giving beneficiaries and providers a seamless and trusted way to create accounts, recover access, and securely manage health information.
