FAQs

About the Artist

Steven DeGraeve is an artist and software engineer living in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

DeGraeve makes his art with custom software he's been perfecting over a decade. The software looks at images and finds contours to create layers of flowing lines and dots. These lines and dots become "instructions" for a robot which holds a pen filled with India ink to precisely create the physical artwork.

Komputeko art print paper texture

The art prints use 340 gsm, acid free, 100% cotton rag paper with a bright white, textured surface. This print is from the Childhood Summer series. I think the prints look better than the originals because the black is as dark as charcoal with no glossiness from the India ink.
