THE SCHEDULE
12:00 – Doors Open
Registration opens and lunch is served at Laszlos Krog, which stays open all day for food, drinks, and informal meetups.
13:00 – Keynote: The Future of Game Development
The summit kicks off with a bold keynote session featuring several leading voices from the industry. Together they’ll explore what’s next for games, studios and players.
14:00 – State of the Industry
What does the landscape look like in Sweden and beyond? We bring together experts from the national industry and regional ecosystem — with data, insights, and outlooks.
15:00 – LiU Game Awards & Valla Student Showcases
First, join us as Linköping University presents the 15th edition of the LiU Game Awards — celebrating student creativity.
Right after, Valla Game Education will showcase selected student projects, presenting fresh ideas from upcoming game creators.
16:00 – Games for Change
Three lightning talks from creators using games for education, climate action, and social change — followed by a panel exploring the impact, challenges, and opportunities of games with purpose.
17:00 – Behind the Buzz of Clair Obscure: Expedition 33
Discover the social media and creator strategy behind one of 2025’s breakout titles. This session dives into how content creators, smart timing, and tight publisher–developer alignment helped turn Clair Obscure: Expedition 33 into a viral success.
18:00 – Fail Fest: Game Dev Disasters & WTF Moments
The most entertaining part of the day. Developers open up about bugs, breakdowns, and beautiful failures — and what they learned along the way.
19:00 – Aftergame Social Club
Food, drinks and relaxed networking. Catch up with old friends — and make new ones — over a beer or two at Laszlos Krog.
21:00 – Live Band & Good Vibes
The evening continues at the same venue! Stick around as the mingle turns into a lively party, with a local band bringing music and energy to keep the night going.

How to Get to Ebbepark, Linköping
East Sweden Game Summit takes place in Spektrum, a modern venue located in the heart of Ebbepark — Linköping’s innovation district. It’s right next to East Sweden Game and Laszlos Krog.

✈️ Coming from abroad?
Fly to Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN) or Linköping City Airport (LPI). From Arlanda, take a direct train to Linköping (approx. 2.5 hours). From Linköping Airport, it’s just a 10-minute taxi or bus ride to Ebbepark.
🚆 Coming by train?
From Linköping Central Station, it’s a 5–10 minute taxi ride or a 20-minute walk to Ebbepark.
🚗 By car?
Search for Ebbepark, Linköping in your GPS. Parking is available in the area, but we recommend using public transport.
🚌 Local transport?
Several city buses stop near Ebbepark. Use the Östgötatrafiken app or website to plan your trip.
