Acknex-3 is a long-forgotten Doom-style raycaster game engine. It was part of 3D GameStudio which used to be developed and maintained by Conitec GmbH.
Although DOSBox allows running MS-DOS applications on modern PCs, until today there is no properly working solution with good emulation of Acknex-3 games, delivering results close to the original experience.
Over the years different research projects have been initiated in order to develop an understanding of how the engine interals work. A long-term target is enabling games created with Acknex-3 to run with a modern 3d engine like Unity 3D.

Due to increasing interest in retro games I re-uploaded some of my old work which is not under version control and therefore was not available anymore to public recently.
The games in this section usually won't run anymore on a modern system. You'll need to rely on the use of emulators or Windows comaptibility mode in order to get things running.
