Important Announcement

Dear Bitforex Users,

Thank you for your understanding and support. On February 23, 2024, the core team and some employees of BitForex were detained by the Jiangsu Provincial Police, resulting in the forced shutdown of our platform.

Consequently, our website became inaccessible, and users were unable to withdraw their assets. The sudden and sensitive nature of this incident prevented us from notifying users and the public in a timely manner. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and distress this has caused all users.

After persistent efforts and communication, the BitForex platform will reopen for withdrawals on July 24, 2024 (UTC). The specific details are as follows:

  1. Trading Suspension: All trading functions will be suspended, and users will not be able to execute any buy or sell action.
  2. Registration Suspension: During this period, new user registrations will be halted.
  3. Deposit Suspension: Users will be unable to deposit assets into their platform accounts.
  4. Closure of All Platform Services & Products: The platform will cease all types of service & products and undergo a comprehensive rectification.
  5. Withdrawal Process: Users will be able to withdraw their assets from the platform to designated personal or external third-party wallets.
  6. KYC Verification Requirements: Users will need to provide KYC (Know Your Customer) documentation, including a passport, phone number, and other necessary identity verification information, when withdrawing assets.
  7. Batch Processing of Withdrawals: Due to high demand and processing speeds, withdrawals will be handled in batches. We ask for your patience during this process.

Additionally, due to the impact of this incident, some BitForex accounts with assets are frozen on third-party platforms such as OKX. We are actively working to resolve these freezes, which may affect the withdrawal progress for some users.

We understand that this incident has caused significant inconvenience and distress to our users, and we sincerely apologize for this once again. We are making every effort to ensure the safety of user assets.

If you have any questions or require further assistance, please contact us via our official email (support@bitforex.com). Our customer service team will respond promptly and provide the necessary support.

Once again, we extend our sincere apologies and gratitude to all our users. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Sincerely,
The BitForex Team
