Visit our website: https://near.com.co/ Job Overview We are looking for a senior Marketing Strategist to be the strategic architect of our clients' success. At Near, our mission is to help emerging fashion designers launch their fashion brand and sell out their debut collection in 90 days. Your role is twofold: first, to build the foundational Brand Strategy by conducting deep market research and defining the brand's DNA by researching its competitors and customers. Second, to create and execute the "Sell-Out" Marketing Plan that brings that brand to life and drives immediate commercial impact. You will own the project's strategic success from start to finish. Key Responsibilities This project-based role is divided into two primary functions. A single project may require one or both. Brand Strategy Development (Function 1) Lead Client Discovery: Conduct expert-led workshops with founders to define their brand's DNA, vision, mission, and long-term goals. Conduct Competitor Analysis: Analyze direct and indirect competitors to identify their strengths, weaknesses, and a unique market position for the new brand. Develop Customer Personas: Build data-informed ideal customer profiles based on psychographics, behaviors, and purchase drivers. Deliver the Brand Blueprint: Synthesize all research into a comprehensive Brand Strategy document that will serve as the single source of truth for the project. Marketing & Launch Execution (Function 2) Develop the "Sell-Out" Marketing Plan: Create a comprehensive, 90-day, multi-channel marketing plan with the specific goal of selling out the client's debut collection. Manage Launch Campaigns: Actively manage and oversee the day-to-day execution of the launch plan, ensuring all timelines and objectives are met. Oversee Key Channels: Direct the strategy across social media, influencer marketing, PR, and paid advertising campaigns. Manage Client's Marketing Budget: Strategically allocate and manage the client's marketing spend to maximize return on investment and achieve campaign KPIs. Lead Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for the client on all marketing activities, leading weekly update meetings and providing regular, clear reports on campaign performance. Track & Report Performance: Define key metrics, track the performance of all launch activities, and analyze data to optimize campaigns in real-time. Qualifications & Experience Proven Track Record – 5+ years of senior-level experience with a portfolio of case studies showing quantifiable results (sell-through rates, ROAS) in previous brand launches. Fashion Marketing Expertise – Deep, hands-on experience in the DTC fashion or luxury space, with a clear understanding of the industry's unique challenges. Full-Funnel Expertise – Mastery of brand positioning, performance marketing, influencer outreach, and PR. Exceptional Communication – Full professional fluency in English for client leadership and presentations. Working Details & Compensation This is a long-term, project-based role where you will take on projects as Near partners with high-end fashion brands. Compensation will be provided per project, with generous rates that reflect the complexity and scope of the work. You will have the flexibility to take on independent projects when Near is not handling a client but you will be expected to prioritize and dedicate your expertise to delivering high-quality work whenever a new client comes on board at Near. We are currently looking for expertise to join our vision, with the first client projects scheduled to begin in November 2025. Compensation is provided on a per-function basis for each project, with the following rates. A single client project may require one or both of these functions, depending on the scope. Brand Strategy Development: $2,500 per project. Marketing & Launch Management: $5,000 per project.
