This topic describes how to activate LindormSearch.
Prerequisites
Before you purchase LindormSearch nodes, evaluate the resources required by your business. For information about how to evaluate the required resources, see Plan the cluster capacity.
Enabling the search index during instance purchase
Log on to the Lindorm console.
Click Create.
On the purchase page, configure the specification and number of LindormSearch nodes by specifying the Node Spec Of Search Engine (Solr API) and Search Engine Nodes parameters.
NoteIf your application is primarily used for information searching, we recommend selecting a high specification and purchasing at least 2 nodes. After the Lindorm instance is created, you can modify the specification and number of nodes as needed.

Click Buy Now.
Enable the search index after an instance purchase
If LindormTable is activated for your Lindorm instance and you need to search data in wide tables, you can enable the search index feature.
In the navigation pane on the left, click SearchIndex, and click Activate Now.
Select specifications for the LindormSearch nodes and Lindorm Tunnel Service (LTS) nodes.
Click Buy Now.
View activation progress
After the payment is complete, the Lindorm instance will be in the Creating state. You can use the instance after its state changes to Running.
