I’m trying to login to login to my WordPress Dashboard but once I input my login credentials, Jetpack says they need to verify my identity (which has never happened since I’ve had Jetpack plugin) and they sent an email to an address I don’t recognize at all. I’ve only had two email addresses associated with this account, and it’s none of them. Problem is there are no alternatives to verify my ID, so I’m stuck. How do I resolve this? Thank you.

    Hi there,

To resolve this issue, please check if you have access to the email address associated with your WP Admin user profile. If you don’t recognize the email address, you can update it by following these steps:

    1. Contact support to confirm your site ownership. They will help deactivate the Account Protection module.
    2. Once you regain access, update your email in your user profile at https://yourjetpack.blog/wp-admin/profile.php, replacing yourjetpack.blog with your site’s domain.

Additionally, if you have FTP access you can remove or change the Jetpack folder to deactivate Jetpack and then you will get access again. Once you get access could you check if that is the same as your email? You can find it under Users → Profile:

Additionally, verify that the Administration Email Address under Settings → General is also set correctly.

If you get stuck please contact us directly at this form:  https://jetpack.com/contact-support/?rel=support&hpi=1

    Cheers.

    Hi there, @karl621,

Do you have updates about that, do you still need help? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no movement, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!
