Biography
I am now a research scientist at the Alibaba-NTU Global e-Sustainability CorpLab (ANGEL) at Nanyang Technological University, under the supervision of Dr. Shen Zhiqi. I received my Ph.D. in July 2023 at the College of Computing and Data Science (CCDS, NTU), under the supervision of Professor Miao Chunyan and Professor Wang Ke. Before that, I received a Bachelor's degree from the College of Software, Jilin University, and a Master's degree from the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, advised by Professor Zhang Yongdong and Associate Professor Gao Ke.
My research interests are centered on (1) Explainable AI; (2) Healthcare and Medical; (3) Interpretability.
Explainability of AI/ML models: understanding the mechanism of AI/ML models through uncertainty estimation, representation probing, and mechanistic interpretability, counterfactual explanation. Interdisciplinary Research: integrating ML/AI models to advance healthcare and clinical decision-making Trustworthy and Human-Aligned LLMs: injecting domain knowledge through retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and reinforcement learning (RL) AI for Social Science: Exploring the application of large language models (LLMs) in social science research, particularly in promoting fairness, equity, and social good. I am open and welcome to collaborate with researchers with similar interests. Our lab also welcomes exchange students and visiting scholars, including those supported by CSC and similar programs. If any questions about me or my Lab, feel free to drop me an email.
