Very nice place to go to and the price is about 10 US Dollars per person. Just be aware that they will try to take a picture with you and charge you 50 Reais for that (15 US Dollars). An absurd!!!

(Translated by Google) The cable car is well organized and pleasant. It is expensive, but worth it to see it. Just don't pay to visit the viewpoint because you have to go up and down. It is very hot and, despite the beautiful view, you can't stay there because the line to go down in the elevator goes around the viewpoint itself. (Original) O bondinho é bem organizado e gostosinho. O valor é salgado, mas vale para conhecer. Só não pague a visita ao mirante porque é subir e descer. O local é muito quente e, apesar da vista bonita, não dá pra ficar porque a fila pra descer de elevador dá a volta no próprio mirante.

The Basílica Histórica de Nossa Senhora Aparecida is a welcoming place for pets, as visitors are surprised by how well-behaved they are. It's possible to attend mass with your furry friends without any issues. When visiting, it's recommended to sit closer to the door and in the back rows to manage any barking. The architecture of the basilica is stunning, although some visitors were unable to enter due to closure.

The parish priest tried to prevent a large flock of faithful to pray the Holy Rosary in front of the church. This had been announced days in advance. Instead he purposely rang all of the church bells, to make so much noise that nobody could understand a word - it was a wonderful experience to pray the Holy Rosary under such circumstance, against the orders of the pastor! *Shame on this parish pastor!*

Very impressive place to visit and walk around. Even if you don’t come for a pilgrimage, it is worth while to come and make it a tourist visit. It was quite busy even though it was weekday

This was an absolutely stunning Basilica. The second largest in the world only the Vatican is larger. The stone murals were beautiful along with everything else ..a must see.

Roger S — Google review
Considered the second biggest Catholic Temple of the world (after San Pedro Temple in Vatican) and the biggest in Brazil. Beautiful religious place with plenty of infrastructure to accommodate faithful from all places and renew their vows
Claudio T — Google review
It was bigger than o ever imagined. It’s like an entire city, it takes hours to walk around and be able to appreciate every detail. Lots of stores inside and restaurants. With the Covid-19 restrictions, we couldn’t see more of the inside details but it was worth it. They have mass every hour and multiple locations as well. I loved it. Perfect to buy gifts and there more attractions outside the Basilica as well. The entire city is filled with attractions and even the cities nearby.
Katiuscia M — Google review
This should be included in the must visit places in Brazil. The cathedral is huge and very beautiful. The dome ia decorated with paintings of Brazilian fauna. The sacred image of the Holly Mary, which was found by locals and is attributed to several miracles, is exposed there. The energy of this place is hard to describe.

Excellent food, and most important very good beers !!!
JCM — Google review
(Translated by Google) NOT WORTH THE EXPERIENCE! The physical space is beautiful, German style, inviting! It's strange that it's constantly empty. I soon discovered the reason: expensive and unseasoned food! (R$99.00 = rice, fries, steak - 2 people) *doesn't serve 1 person. ABSURD!!!! Burnt filet mignon steak, reheated rice, fries covered in oil, beans on the side (R$20.00) overly seasoned. I couldn't eat it! We ask for sparkling water, THERE IS NONE! We ask for Coca-Cola Zero, WE ONLY GET TWO! We ask to sit in the dining room, WE ONLY SERVE ON THE BALCONY! We ask for filet parmigiana, WE ONLY HAVE THAT DISH (THAT'S THE NAME), BECAUSE WE CLOSED AT 2PM! (*Saturday 12:45) Result: I paid a lot and went home angry and hungry. An experience I wish I had avoided. 1 star is still too much for the place. (Original) NÃO VALE A EXPERIÊNCIA! O espaço físico é bonito, estilo alemão, convidativo! Estranho estar constantemente vazio. Logo descobri o motivo: comida cara e sem tempero! (R$ 99,00 = arroz, batata frita, bife - 2 pessoas) *não serve 1 pessoa. ABSURDO!!!!

(Translated by Google) I came to the brewery with my family after seeing the place advertised on the road. The experience was regrettable. The restaurant wasn't full, but the dishes took a long time to arrive at all the tables. In addition, there was a problem with the brewery and there was no Pilsen draft beer. After a long time, the food arrived and fortunately it was delicious. The restaurant has fewer waiters than it needs, both in the service and in the kitchen. The waiters are clearly trying their best to serve the customers, but they can't work miracles! Please improve. (Original) Vim com a família na cervejaria depois de ver o anúncio do lugar na estrada. Depois de muito tempo a comida chegou e felizmente estava saborosa. O restaurante está com menos atendentes do que precisaria, tanto no serviço como na cozinha. (Translated by Google) Terrible experience!!! We waited two hours to eat, two waiters just to serve, with no one managing, they try hard to serve, but they are lost. It is a brewery without beer, which takes a long time to serve. They couldn't even serve the soft drinks we ordered. And there were several people at the table and each dish was served separately, the rice came and then the meat, the meat came and they forgot the side dishes. Anyway... Regrettable!!! (Original) Péssima experiência!!! Ficamos duas horas para comer, dois garçons somente para atender, sem ninguém gerenciando, se esforçam para atender, mas ficam perdidos. Mananciais de Campos do Jordão State Park

Beautiful park with many exotic and local trees. One of the last safe haven for Brazilian Pine (Araucaria)
Guilherme S — Google review
A nice park to walk around. There are several short hikes. We really enjoyed Trilha dos campos (3km), which takes you up to good views and also winds along the river for a stretch. The trail to the waterfall was much more crowded and more of a road than a trail. Overall, the park itself was very crowded excepting Trilha dos Campos. It is possible to access by bus or uber and you do have to pay to enter.

Four stars for the capybaras only. The “Lagos” were dirty ponds and every attraction offered was serious $$$$.

Beautiful place, very well conserved with detailed maintainance. The park is an environmental reserve. Activities: there are trails with different kinds of difficulty and length. There are food trucks during the peak of the season, however there are two places that serves food all year. There are activities for children too and playgrounds. There is bike rent and a shop with handcrafted materials made of wood.

This park is absolutely beautiful. We spent a few hours here, exploring. Then we had lunch at the restaurant at the end and it was wonderful.

Such a beautiful place with kind-hearted staff! I’m not a local and didn’t know that they only accept cash and Pix, and since my card was international they couldn’t accept it. The girl selling tickets let me in for free and covered my parking as well. Such a simple yet kind act, it was genuinely the highlight of my day! The plants and gardens were beautiful, and I felt very peaceful afterwards. I would recommend this place to everyone!
Alexandra N — Google review
This park was absolutely beautiful and worth the 40 Reis entrance fee. The gardens were all well-maintained. The views of the surrounding valleys were spectacular. It's an easy stroll through the park, and there's even a maze to navigate through. There are various plants to see and coy fish in the ponds. And there's a tree house you can visit. You only need 1-2 hours total to see everything. The employees were nice, but it may be difficult to find someone that speaks English.
Christine M — Google review
This was my second visit, and somehow, this time the park felt smaller. They really take care of this place, and it's a good one hour's visit. Entrance fee is not cheap.
Michelle O — Google review
They have good tree house.. and nice place to take a walk with family, unfortunately every garden doesn’t really represent the country mentioned. Only Japanese garden and Chinese garden that bit represent their own country.
Anastasia K — Google review
Absolutely wonderful botanical gardens. The location is amazing, with plenty of beautiful scenery. From the treehouse to hedge maze, there is a lot to occupy half a day. I was impressed with how well it was maintained and the variety of plants. The price was reasonable for what you get to see. Also, there is a student discount if you show your student ID. Highly recommend Amantikir Park; it is a must see if you are in the area.

Waterfalls
Ducha de Prata is a popular tourist spot in Campos do Jordao, featuring man-made waterfalls and showers accessible via wooden decks. The water supply comes directly from the natural waterfalls of Ribeirao de Perdizes. Visitors can stroll along the wooden bridges, listen to the soothing sounds of the waterfall, and explore nearby souvenir stalls offering various items such as clothing, chocolates, and crafts.
Another tourist attraction in Campos de Jordão and one of the best for sure. A small waterfall with walking areas and platforms designed to get the best picture possible. Lots of small shops and restaurants around as well as tourism buses departing and arriving here. On the low side there is lack of toilets, so if you have the urge, you need to use one of the tiny ones located within the restaurants around.

It’s a very beautiful place and there are shops you can shop souvenirs from. The only issue is the issue of getting a ticket to enter the main areas there but you can still view for free from the first stairs and also take pictures. We didn’t stay for long because we went there by the sight seeing train from the capivari.

It’s the centre of attraction of the city, a very lovely place with different activities that you can engage in. Feel free to go there to take pictures even if you can’t afford to pay for boat rides & other activities there. It’s very close to capivari where you can eat and take different pictures with their colour full backgrounds

It's a family friendly place, but very touristy. Meaning things area expensive and mass target. Nevertheless it's a great place for little kids to run around and enjoy themselves while grownups enjoy a craft (but little expensive) beer.

Main square of Campos do Jordão city. There you will find hotels, restaurants, bars, ice cream parlor, handcrafted chocolates, clothing shops and warehouses that sells wines, beers and kinds of canned food. In the winter season there is the winter festival on the main square. In this occasion orchestras and shows are being presented to the visitors.

Morro do Elefante is a must-visit spot offering breathtaking city and mountain views. Accessible by road or cable car, the hilltop terrace provides an incredible panoramic view of the entire tourist center. The cable car ride is a popular choice for reaching the top, where visitors can enjoy the stunning scenery and even return for a second visit. Standing at 1800 meters above sea level, this location offers an adrenaline-pumping experience with its elephant trunk-like curvature.
Awesome place to watch the sunset with life music They have a cable car that connects to the park at the bottom During Christmas the lights are espetacular

It was a silly place but fun for our kid and we took lots of pictures. The photographer in there was really nice and only charged us R$5 per adult to take photos of us by the sign and even did a video with snow falling. We enjoyed that!
Tatiana M — Google review
Cute area to see the view. You can park your car on the other side of town, and go up the cable train. There was a huge wait though.
Felix G — Google review
Overlooking Campos do jordoan, beautiful European style town right in brazil. You can take a "ski lift" type ride up or down to the overlook. Couple of little shops and food vendors so you can spend a little extra time enjoying the view. The photos are what so much of the home, hotels, shops and restaurants are like.
Bert A — Google review
It was OK but not that much of a thing to see you have to pay to get a good photo photo it was around 5reais The cable car is not working now so if you want to try the cable car you have to wait-a-bit more It's also not easy to park
Amy H — Google review
Beautiful view in a place that could get potential to be better. We climbed to the elephant's hill using the scared cable car, I believe its was created with the city and never modernized. My husband, who is Canadian, liked the experience more than I did. He was scared but he found excited at the same time. I think that because I have already been to Campos do Jordão several times, I think at this point the city, which seems to be very rich looking at the hotels in the area and people who frequent it, should have already renovated that a long time ago and have made something much better and more attractive, as the other countries that have mountains for Ski. I think don’t need to be exactly the same, but Mount Tremblant in Quebec also has a small area up hill and its not so fancy, but little more attractive and safe. Anyway, the view is very beautiful and we can see the whole city, mountains and part of the other surrounding regions. When we get up there again, the attractions could be much more elaborate and modernized giving opportunity to locals to get better jobs, show a nicer view and give to the city, locals and visitors a better structure. I think the place with elephants is a good idea, especially for children, but they could modernize it and charge a little for the entrance to maintain the place. They also could make a kind of a little mall where people could expose their crafts making their products more attractive and a nice cafe or restaurant with a lookout ... Anyway, use a little of the American style of exposing your business, which could be better for everybody. If I had money to invest, that unfortunately is not the case at the moment, I would probably organize people and get that changed for the benefit of all city and visitors. Grade: Eli = 3, Serge = 3 Recommend: It’s worth for the Mountain View.
Discovering D — Google review
Overall a very nice place. The cable car looked a bit outdated and you definitely shouldn't be afraid of heights haha. But you are rewarded at the end with a beautiful view! :)

Boa Vista Palace, a former governor's residence in winter, now serves as a museum showcasing historical objects and art alongside contemporary works. The palace offers guided tours on specific days, so it's recommended to book in advance. Built in the European style, the palace boasts a vast area worth exploring. On weekends, it attracts many visitors with highly knowledgeable guides sharing its history and significance within the state government.
It's a wonderful building. You can see art and building from different times, from 18th century chests to nowadays paintings. The place is a must go to any lover of art or/and history. Outside the building there's a garden which is the only place you can take pictures of, and it's very beautiful too.

Can't rate it completely as we didn't get a chance to get inside. I suggest you arrive earlier as there are only 30 free tickets available every 30mins.

Its a really nice place, it was colder than the usual places in SP. The security was also really nice to let us take a photo with him.
Agatha H — Google review
Watch out for the timing. The place is mostly closed and has a restricted entrance up to 30 people every 30 minutes. It closes if there's rain or the street is wet. It's very hard to coordinate. To avoid completely wasting your time , the auditorium down the road is very pleasant and has a sculpture garden.
Marco C — Google review
Entry tickets are handed out twice a day, first come, first served. 10am is the first ticket hand-out, and 2pm is the second. Only 18 people can enter per group and stay in for 30 minutes tops.
Raphael G — Google review
Nice the palace is like a French chatu of the 17th century is a copy I would say but the system is not very efficient to take visits as you have to go in person should be via internet like all other places in the town are this makes it difficult to visit and becomes a poor quality service and poor efficiency in today's days.

The Felícia Leirner Museum is one of the most beautiful places to visit in Campos do Jordão. It is located not so far from the downtown. But you'll need a car to get there. The tickets are relatively cheap. The staff is very kind and give you all information you need. It is an open museum. However, there is an concert hall with a café and restrooms together. So, you'll find the necessary infrastructure to support your visit. The museum has about 70 statues from the artist, all placed in the middle if the nature. It's amazing! Upon entering the building, with free parking right next to it, you will hear soft and gentle Gregorian music playing in a low but audible tone, inviting the faithful to concentrate on their prayers! What draws attention to the various Catholic churches is that their external appearances are different from each other, however, the interior follows the pattern of respect and invitation to prayer! You can be sure that you will be able to visit and receive a warm welcome from our Lord! O que chama a atenção das diversas igrejas católicas, é que em seus aspectos externos são diferentes entre si, no entanto, o interior segue o padrão de respeito e convite à oração! Very few shops around, most of them are closed. Good choice for snacks and food but no coffee shops. Some bars around but nothing to enjoy a good coffee or tea. Location is not good and probably this is the reason the place is not very popular with locals. Not easy reachable by foot for tourists without own transportation. The mall was building far away from city center and main high street to keep shoppers on foot away, well they managed to keep most shoppers away, I can say the development was a disaster for choosing a poor location.

The staff are incredibly hospitable, ensuring a comfortable stay and providing assistance whenever needed. Guests can savor delicious homemade meals at the buffet dining area and take advantage of the outdoor pool for relaxation.
Stayed for a couple days, the area is beautiful especially the view from atop the mountain. Every single person on staff were extremely kind and helpful. They made us very comfortable in their chalet while we stayed and enjoyed their animals and activities. The food was also quite good and gave a good selection. We couldn't do all the activities because of time but we did the big zip line, the aqua ball for the kids, the quad adventure, and horseback riding.

We spent a day here Christmas Eve 2018, and had a great time. Five of us did a combination of horseback riding (both short and long rides), four wheeler expeditions up the mountains, zip lining on both short and long lines (the longest one goes from the top of Morro Pelado back down to the main site, about a 1.1km run), and had an awesome buffet lunch. We could have done more, but ran out of time (they closed early, at 4PM on Christmas Eve, which is only to be expected!). Next time we'll stay at their new hotel and have a couple of days to take it in. I'd recommend this without reservation to just about anyone, but especially to families with kids who are adventurous.

Great family outing, from horseback riding to buggy carts, cable slides, mini farmhouse & hands on along with a fishing pond for kids and more. Good country food eat all you can. Thumbs up

I have spent 3 nights at one of the family chalets. Loved the homemade food at breakfast and dinner time. Unfortunately, the weather was not the best and, we only got a chance to take photos of the infinity pool they have on the very last day. Outdoor activities were also a great call. My family and I went on an adventurous ride in a buggy (aka gaiola) to the highest point of the city where we could see both the cities of Monte Sião and Águas de Lindóia. My husband rode a horse and did airsoft gun shot practice. We had a blast doing archery and arvorismo as well. Guest tip: Get a 30% off on the activities price when staying at the hotel/chalet (valid on October 2021).

A rural property that helds a nice tourism complexo. There is a mix of countryside activities (animal feeding, fishing and horseback riding) and adventure activities (zipline, paintball and ATV). It is a good opportunity to have lot of fun surrounded by Nature. There are no entrance fee and parking is free. Kids (and grown ups) love it!

I do not know the rooms because I did not stay in the hotel, I only used the local attractions such as tree climbing, ziplining, horse riding, jeep, quad biking, snack bar. The attractions are perfect for kids and adults, with good team of monitors. I always go when I am in the area.

What a stunning and beautiful surprise! The vineyard is beautiful and extremely well maintained with a lot of attention to detail. Staff was friendly and helpful, but a little slow for my taste. Great wines and the tábua mista was excellent.

Lovely winery. We reserved a visit with an English speaker and it was great. We got to taste their coffee along with a Syrah. So great to see their dog as it reminded us of our dogs back home!

The best Take-off I have ever been. There is a small restaurant, where you can buy food and beverages, a small shop with t-shirt and other stuff. There are toilets and drinkable water. It is possible to take-off with different wind directions. All the take-offs are spacious.

Recanto Japonês is a serene and inspiring oasis located just outside the bustling center of Pocos de Caldas. This outdoor tourist attraction features a picturesque artificial lake teeming with colorful koi fish, charming bridges, and lush trees reminiscent of Japan. Originally established in 1920 as a water reservoir, it later transformed into the enchanting Recanto das Borboletas, celebrated for its rich biodiversity that delighted both locals and visitors alike.

Sad to see the privatization of places that belonged to the city and its citizens. Most attractions at Poços de Caldas are now private and closed at this time. Yes, you heard me... the attractions are closed except for the christ. Once they open again all attractions will be charged... locations that were free for more than 100 years will now be charged. Needless to say, the Fonte dos Amores was closed. What saved the day were the monkeys who were coming to the gate to greet us. However, because the attraction has been closed, the monkeys have been hungry and tourists have been feeding them all types of foods even M&Ms.. so sad.

This is a very nice city trail by which I mean, your only one block outside a residential neighborhood and into the mata. Once on the trail you're immediately in dense foliage and on a steep, stairs-like climb for the next 500m. The last 100m or so is on open mountain exposed to sun and a view of your target, Christo. My observations, the trail could be more meandering through the jungle to get to the top rather than straight up. And of course, Brazilian style, there's a road for cars to drive to the top so you arrive into a parking lot, cars and the usual trash and noise. Check out the paragliding view on the backside!

The place has beautiful waterfalls and food stands are near it if you wanna catch a snack. Also, be careful. There are a lot of rocks you may slip on.

The Cristo Redentor monument is a stunning statue of Jesus Christ perched atop an observation tower, which provides visitors with breathtaking panoramic views. The monument offers sweeping vistas of the city and its surroundings, making it a popular tourist destination. However, due to its exposed location, visitors should be prepared for windy conditions when visiting. In addition to the incredible views, the statue itself is also a marvel of engineering and design that requires careful maintenance to keep it in pristine condition.
