With a production history dating back over 1,500 years to the Northern and Southern Dynasties, Liubao tea is mainly produced in more than 20 counties including Cangwu and Hexian in Guangxi. The tea from Gongzhou Village and Heishi Village is considered the best quality, with an annual output of about 30,000 dan (a traditional Chinese unit of weight), exported to Japan, Southeast Asia and other regions.
