Strong Growth in China's Textile and Apparel Exports in March 2023

根据海关数据显示，2023年3月，我国纺织品服装出口额达到263.9亿美元，同比增长19.9%。其中纺织品出口129.05亿美元（增长9.5%），服装出口134.85亿美元（增长31.9%）。

According to customs data, in March 2023, China's textile and apparel exports reached $26.39 billion, a year-on-year increase of 19.9%. Textile exports were $12.905 billion (up 9.5%), while apparel exports were $13.485 billion (up 31.9%).

2023年1-3月，我国纺织品服装累计出口672.31亿美元，同比下降6.8%。其中纺织品出口320.7亿美元（下降12.1%），服装出口351.61亿美元（下降1.3%）。

From January to March 2023, China's cumulative textile and apparel exports were $67.231 billion, down 6.8% year-on-year. Textile exports totaled $32.07 billion (down 12.1%), while apparel exports were $35.161 billion (down 1.3%).

棉花及棉纱进口数据

Cotton and Cotton Yarn Import Data

1-3月累计进口棉纱29.1万吨（下降22.4%），进口棉花29.7万吨（下降51.9%）。3月单月棉纱进口13.7万吨，同比增长10.3%。

Cumulative imports from January to March were 291,000 tons of cotton yarn (down 22.4%) and 297,000 tons of cotton (down 51.9%). March alone saw 137,000 tons of cotton yarn imports, up 10.3% year-on-year.

4月市场价格波动

4月份国内棉纱价格小幅下跌1.1%，而棉花期货大幅上涨7.3%。国际棉花期货价格则下跌2.4%。

In April, domestic cotton yarn prices fell slightly by 1.1%, while cotton futures rose sharply by 7.3%. International cotton futures prices fell by 2.4%.

加工销售情况

Processing and Sales Status

截至4月底，全国皮棉加工率99.9%，销售率81.7%，同比提高32.8个百分点，新疆地区销售率达81.9%。

By the end of April, the national ginned cotton processing rate was 99.9%, with a sales rate of 81.7% (up 32.8 percentage points year-on-year). Xinjiang's sales rate reached 81.9%.

As the world's largest cotton producer, consumer and textile/apparel exporter, China produced 5.977 million tons of cotton in 2022 (up 4.3%), with total textile and apparel exports growing by 2.5%.
