"American client John has placed another order worth $1 million!" On August 14, at Baoding Gaoyang Bailixin Home Textiles Co., Ltd., marketing manager Liu Ting happily said after receiving an email from the US, "This is a returning customer who chose to cooperate again after leaving."
柏立信专注毛巾制品生产20余年,出口额占公司年产值的95%以上。"我们的产品主要出口美国、日本、韩国和欧盟等34个国家和地区。"刘婷介绍。
Bailixin has specialized in towel production for over 20 years, with exports accounting for more than 95% of annual output. "Our products are mainly exported to 34 countries and regions including the US, Japan, South Korea and the EU," Liu Ting explained.
但在2019年,柏立信的海外销售却遇到不小挑战。纺织业是一个劳动密集程度高、对外依存度较大的产业。"那时候,南亚、东南亚一些人力资源丰富的国家也瞄准了这块市场,纷纷投产纺织品。咱们一个成熟工人的月薪在1万元至1.5万元之间,人工成本就是他们的10倍,相应的产品价格也高,导致一些订单慢慢流失,利润空间也被一再压缩。"刘婷说,约翰就是在那时取消的合作,转而采购国外价格更便宜的产品。
But in 2019, Bailixin faced significant challenges in overseas sales. The textile industry is labor-intensive and highly dependent on foreign trade. "At that time, countries in South and Southeast Asia with abundant human resources also targeted this market and started textile production. Our skilled workers earned monthly salaries between 10,000-15,000 yuan, making labor costs 10 times higher than theirs, leading to higher product prices. This gradually caused order losses and squeezed profit margins," Liu Ting said. John canceled cooperation at that time, switching to cheaper foreign products.
现在,约翰为什么选择重新合作呢?"秘密就藏在我们的数字化车间里。"带记者来到公司的大型织造车间,刘婷揭晓了答案。
Why has John chosen to cooperate again now? "The secret lies in our digital workshop." Taking reporters to the large weaving workshop, Liu Ting revealed the answer.

"为了走出困局,我们积极寻找出路。在政府部门支持下,2022年我们向数字化车间转型,打造智慧工厂。"刘婷介绍,他们利用云端协同系统、新型网络技术、自动化生产线、人工智能运输机器人等先进技术和装备,通过生产过程的数据采集、多端协同等方式,对营销、设计、工艺以及生产组织、质量检测等各个环节进行数字化赋能,有效提高了生产效率、产品质量。
"To break through the difficulties, we actively sought solutions. With government support, we transformed into a digital workshop in 2022 to build a smart factory," Liu Ting introduced. They utilized advanced technologies like cloud collaboration systems, new network technologies, automated production lines and AI transport robots, empowering all aspects including marketing, design, technology, production organization and quality inspection through data collection and multi-terminal collaboration, effectively improving production efficiency and product quality.
"以前,织造车间需要一人盯一台织机,现在一人能盯6台。"刘婷说,经统计,数字化车间投用后,运营成本降低15%,生产效率提升20%,不良品率降低7%以上,产量有了保障,质量也更稳定。
"Previously, one worker monitored one loom in the weaving workshop, now one worker can monitor six." Liu Ting said statistics show that after adopting the digital workshop, operating costs decreased by 15%, production efficiency increased by 20%, defective rates reduced by over 7%, with guaranteed output and more stable quality.
2023年8月,在美国拉斯维加斯国际家纺展览会上,刘婷碰到了老朋友约翰。当时,约翰对柏立信展台上品质出色的毛巾制品非常心动,但对重新合作却有些举棋不定。当年9月,约翰来到柏立信的工厂实地考察,在现场领略到数字化车间的强大"威力"后,当即签下15个集装箱价值120万美元的订单。
In August 2023 at the Las Vegas International Home Textiles Exhibition, Liu Ting met old friend John. While impressed by Bailixin's high-quality towel products at the exhibition, John hesitated about renewing cooperation. In September that year, John visited Bailixin's factory for inspection. After witnessing the powerful "capabilities" of the digital workshop firsthand, he immediately signed an order for 15 containers worth $1.2 million.
如今,像约翰一样,选择再次与柏立信"牵手"的国外客商已有十余个。"今年以来,我们的外贸出口交易额达7000万元,其中'回头客'就占了20%。"刘婷说。
Now, over ten foreign clients like John have chosen to "reconnect" with Bailixin. "This year, our foreign trade export volume reached 70 million yuan, with returning customers accounting for 20%," Liu Ting said.
