谷歌“智能撰写”功能将拓展至何方？
In 2018, Google launched the "Smart Compose" feature for the Web version of Gmail and expanded it to the Android platform in 2019.
Now, the search giant is conducting a new test to extend the "Smart Compose" feature to other messaging applications via the Android version of Gboard.
With the "Smart Compose" feature, Gboard provides more intelligent input suggestions until the entire sentence is completed.
By comparison, the "intelligent association" feature of a regular keyboard usually only provides suggestions for the next single word.
When it is first launched, users can view a quick explanation of "Smart Compose". If they accept the suggestions provided by Gboard, users can swipe right directly on the selected text.
It is reported that Google is currently conducting a Beta test of the "Smart Compose" feature for some users of the Gboard keyboard with version v9.5.12.317844448. As for when it will be pushed to the public, it is not yet known.
