In midsummer, Fuzhou's jasmine flowers usher in the harvest season. In Huangshi Village, Changle District, the 350-acre jasmine field of Lin Yongguang and his wife is at its peak picking period. As the largest single-household planting cooperative in China, it witnesses the "golden age" of Fuzhou jasmine.

From Glory to Decline: The Ups and Downs of Jasmine Industry
1985年茉莉花被定为福州市花，鼎盛时期福州茉莉花种植面积达10万亩，占全国茉莉花茶加工量的2/3。但随着城市化进程加快，种植面积一度萎缩至1.8万亩，市场份额被广西横县、四川犍为等地超越。
Designated as Fuzhou's city flower in 1985, the jasmine industry reached its peak with 100,000 acres under cultivation, accounting for 2/3 of China's jasmine tea processing. However, with accelerated urbanization, the planting area shrank to 18,000 acres at one point, losing market share to Hengxian County in Guangxi and Qianwei in Sichuan.

福州市先后出台《九条措施》等政策，对新种植每亩补贴3000元。同时建立茉莉花种质资源圃，收集31个稀有品种，包括"芳香王"越南亮叶笔尖茉莉和"世界最小多瓣型"华盖茉莉。
Fuzhou has introduced policies including the "Nine Measures", providing subsidies of 3,000 yuan per mu for new plantings. A jasmine germplasm resource nursery was established, collecting 31 rare varieties including the "Fragrance King" Vietnamese pointed-leaf jasmine and the "world's smallest multi-petal" Huagai jasmine.

Chunlun Group directly supplies materials to 10+ leading milk tea brands, while Qingkou Tea's supply volume surged 200% year-on-year in 2023. 2023 data shows: The total industrial chain output value exceeded 10 billion yuan, with 24 key tea enterprises helping farmers increase their annual income by 30,000 yuan on average. Fuzhou's annual jasmine tea output reached 19,500 tons, with enterprise sales growing over 20% on average.
