玻利维亚加入人民币结算阵营 南美国家加速"去美元化"进程

玻利维亚经济与公共财政部长蒙特内格罗在27日的记者会上透露,2023年5月至7月期间,该国人民币交易额达到2.78亿元,占同期对外贸易总额的10%。部长特别指出:"香蕉、锌和木材制造业出口商,以及汽车和资本货物进口商都已开始使用人民币交易。"
Bolivia's Minister of Economy and Public Finance Montenegro revealed at a press conference on the 27th that from May to July 2023, the country's RMB transaction volume reached 278 million yuan, accounting for 10% of total foreign trade during the same period. The minister specifically pointed out: "Banana, zinc and wood manufacturing exporters, as well as automobile and capital goods importers have begun to use RMB for transactions."

The AP reported that Bolivia has joined South American countries such as Brazil and Argentina to become an important participant in the internationalization process of RMB. Margaret Myers, director of the Asia and Latin America Program at the Inter-American Dialogue Research Center, analyzed: "In Latin America and the Caribbean, the use of RMB is steadily increasing, especially in countries that want to establish closer ties with China. These countries regard this move as an important measure to form political alliances, aiming to reduce their overall dependence on the US dollar and the United States."
