Beijing, July 12 (Xinhua) - According to the latest data from China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Textiles, China's textile and apparel exports totaled $143.18 billion in the first half of 2024, up 1.5% year-on-year. Textile exports grew by 3.3% while apparel exports remained flat.

从月度数据来看,中国纺织服装出口在经历1-2月两位数增长和3月下滑后逐步企稳,5月和6月同比恢复增长态势。但专家指出,当前外部形势复杂严峻,海外需求尚未完全复苏,中国纺织服装出口仍面临较大不确定性。

Monthly data shows that after experiencing double-digit growth in January-February and a decline in March, China's textile and apparel exports gradually stabilized, returning to growth in May and June. However, experts note that amid complex external conditions and incomplete recovery of overseas demand, China's textile and apparel exports still face significant uncertainties.

按人民币计算,2024年1-6月中国纺织服装累计出口10171亿元人民币,同比增长4.7%。其中纺织品出口4926.7亿元,增长6.5%;服装出口5244.3亿元,增长3%。6月单月纺织服装出口1946.3亿元,同比增长1.5%。

In RMB terms, China's textile and apparel exports totaled 1.0171 trillion yuan from January to June 2024, up 4.7% year-on-year. Textile exports reached 492.67 billion yuan (up 6.5%), while apparel exports amounted to 524.43 billion yuan (up 3%). June's exports stood at 194.63 billion yuan, increasing 1.5% year-on-year.
