• Paper - discussion about how to move forward with lack of Norway Spruce identifier - can we get one in a timely manner and what the fallback options are.
• VCF Zarr spec
  • TW: release 0.3?
  • JK: Yes
• Vcztools bugs
  • JK: have fixed them
  • JK: pushed out an update that broke things - doesn’t work on less than 3.13. Pinned to avoid.
  • TW: possible to move to NCLS, but non trivial
• Bio2zarr:
  • BJ: working on generalizing code to work with multiple formats (ICF, PLINK, BGEN, tskit)
• Discussion about exposing vcf zarr as a PLINK file so tools that consume PLINK can use vcz
  • FUSE or pipes?
  • JK is going to do a prototype to run PLINK
