what's next...

Autumn is upon us…

The B-Sides and I had a blast saying goodbye to summer up in Silver Bay, MN. The North Shore was absolutely stunning—nothing beats that Lake Superior backdrop! We got to play an intimate benefit house concert in this incredible log cabin, supporting music and the arts in Silver Bay. It was magical.

September brings exciting news: I'll be playing the Dakota's 40th Anniversary Block Party on Saturday, Sept. 20th! What an honor to celebrate alongside so many other artists. This venue has helped shape the Minneapolis music scene in many ways, and I'm thrilled to be part of the milestone.

October means a return to my jazz project—my band and I are back at Berlin in Minneapolis on the 11th. Expect some standards mixed with my take on a few contemporary tracks. Fair warning: these intimate shows sell out fast, so get your tickets early!

Speaking of intimate venues, I'm doing another house concert this month. Want live music in your living room? Whether it's for a special occasion or just because,  go HERE for booking details.

November brings something really special: a 20th Anniversary edition of my solo album Slow Burn drops, complete with a celebration at the Icehouse on November 7th! Twenty years—where does the time go? Ticket info coming soon.

And for our finale—we're having a green Christmas! There will not be a show at the Parkway in Minneapolis because the Holiday Show heads to Santa Barbara's Lobero Theatre on December 11th. My Minnesota crew is flying out to give the West Coast a proper Midwest holiday experience. Trust me, you don't want to miss this one. Tickets on sale in two weeks.

Ok, that’s all I got..keep your chin up, find some joy. Go see some live music!

The Good Life

My new jazz record on Shifting Paradigm Records. I was able to record with some of the Twin Cities most excellent performers who brought so much care to these songs that I love and wanted to explore more deeply.

Do You Want to Host a House Concert?

I'm going to open up my touring schedule for a limited run of house concerts this year. House shows are the glue that holds touring musicians' livelihoods together at the seams. If you have a house/yard/barn/patio/rooftop where 30 to 130 folks can gather, you can host a house concert!

We are currently accepting submissions for house/outdoor shows, and we will consider any offer from enthusiastic hosts, from house show veterans to first-timers. No space or audience size is too small for consideration - it doesn't take a ton of wood to light a fire! Feel free to reach out directly and find more info at this link HERE.

Let's see what we can do together.

Well, that's about it…I hope that next year we all find peace, continue to support, see our true selves, and be all of our true selves while we enjoy “The Good Life”. See you in 2024…t
