One thing I’ve learned running T.LY is that SEO growth doesn’t always come from blog posts or chasing backlinks. Over the past year, I’ve been experimenting with a different approach: building small, free tools that solve real problems for people online.
The growth strategy is simple — instead of focusing on marketing content, I’ve started creating lightweight web tools or utilities. Honestly, software development comes a lot easier to me than writing or creating content. I’d rather build tools that bring value and enable people to search for information than to create how-to articles, etc. Each tool gets its page, optimized around a specific problem. I also built a framework that allows me to quickly create new tools when I have an idea. This has two benefits:
- It creates more entry points for organic search traffic.
- It provides immediate value to people who may have never heard of T.LY.
- The framework makes it seamless to add new tools without a lot of complexity
