In 2023, Shanwei achieved a total import-export volume of 20.64 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 27.5%, ranking second in growth rate across Guangdong Province. The city also attracted 328 million yuan in actual utilized foreign investment, up 15.59%, with multiple indicators leading the province's economic growth.

汕尾创新建立"一对一"日调度机制服务30家重点外贸企业，成立外资项目跟踪服务小组，通过"全流程跟踪"推动重点项目落地。2023年前三季度，外贸进出口拉动全市经济增长18.9个百分点。

Shanwei implemented innovative measures including a "one-to-one daily scheduling mechanism" for 30 key foreign trade enterprises and established foreign investment project tracking teams. The "end-to-end tracking" system accelerated key project implementation. In the first three quarters of 2023, foreign trade contributed 18.9 percentage points to the city's economic growth.

双循环战略下的"走出去+引进来"

组织51家企业参加广交会获4500万美元订单，跨境电商交易会达成3000万元意向订单。2023年新签约外资项目投资总额21.5亿元，培育3家亿元级外贸龙头企业。

The city organized 51 enterprises to participate in the Canton Fair, securing orders worth $45 million, and achieved 30 million yuan in intended orders at cross-border e-commerce fairs. Newly signed foreign investment projects totaled 2.15 billion yuan in 2023, with 3 100-million-yuan-level foreign trade leading enterprises cultivated.

广东自贸区汕尾联动发展区改革创新经验落实率94%全省第一，建成跨境电商"两平台六体系"，培育13家出口超亿元跨境电商企业，珠宝首饰跨境电商出口增长25%达10亿元。

The Shanwei linkage zone of Guangdong Pilot Free Trade Zone achieved a 94% implementation rate of reform innovations - the highest in the province. The cross-border e-commerce ecosystem now includes "two platforms and six systems", nurturing 13 e-commerce enterprises with exports exceeding 100 million yuan. Jewelry cross-border e-commerce exports grew 25% to reach 1 billion yuan.

加工贸易承接地的新机遇

2023年7月，汕尾成功获批国家级加工贸易梯度转移重点承接地（全省唯一），为产业转移和对外开放提供新动能。陆河震雄、誉福实业等重点项目落地，推动加工贸易产业集聚升级。

In July 2023, Shanwei was approved as a national-level key undertaking area for processing trade gradient transfer (the only one in Guangdong), providing new momentum for industrial transfer and opening-up. Key projects like Luhe Zhenxiong and Yufu Industrial have settled, promoting industrial clustering and upgrading.
