In early February 2025, there was desire in SOBotics for someone to host Sentinel, and I responded as I could likely host it.

This ended up being more complicated then I expected. Here's some notes on setting it up for future reference:

• Recent version of Ubuntu Server (as of March 24, 2025, this was 24.10).
• Installed Rails using rbenv
• Updated the gemfile to use more recent versions of packages
• Chartkick was problematic, so manually serve it via NGINX
• Run it with rails s -e production
• For support of Ask Ubuntu, import the sites table from here
