云南红茶与世界的第一次相遇是在1939年。第二次世界大战期间,云南红茶经由马帮、汽车、轮船一路奔波,从澜沧江边抵达泰晤士河畔,由此开启了云南红茶的全球化时代。
Yunnan black tea first met the world in 1939. During World War II, Yunnan black tea traveled by caravan, truck and ship all the way from the Lancang River to the Thames, thus opening the era of globalization for Yunnan black tea.
战乱时代:为出口换汇而生
War Era: Born for Export and Foreign Exchange
云南红茶的华丽登场,就是为了出口换汇率。战乱年代,安徽、福建等中国红茶的主要产区无法正常生产,国家需要寻找新的产区来进行红茶出口,为国内带来充足的外汇。
The magnificent debut of Yunnan black tea was for export and foreign exchange. During the war years, the main production areas of Chinese black tea in Anhui and Fujian could not produce normally, so the country needed to find new production areas for black tea export to bring sufficient foreign exchange to the country.
计划经济时代:内销与外销
Planned Economy Era: Domestic and Export Sales
1950年,云南红茶开始恢复出口。从1950年代到1990年代,配合着国家经济的发展,我国茶叶出口在各个阶段有不同的侧重。
In 1950, Yunnan black tea resumed export. From the 1950s to the 1990s, in line with the country's economic development, China's tea exports had different emphases at various stages.

Opportunities and Challenges for Yunnan Black Tea
我国出口的主要茶叶品类包括绿茶、红茶、乌龙茶、普洱茶和花茶。2019年中国绿茶出口达30.39万吨,占茶叶出口总量的82.8%;红茶出口量为3.52万吨,占比9.6%。
China's main tea export categories include green tea, black tea, oolong tea, pu-erh tea and scented tea. In 2019, China's green tea exports reached 303,900 tons, accounting for 82.8% of total tea exports; black tea exports were 35,200 tons, accounting for 9.6%.
