I also have this issue. I am running on CentOS 7. This is how I fixed it:

vi /etc/apache2/conf.d/includes/pre_main_global.confvi /etc/apache2/conf.d/includes/pre_main_global.conf and set the following:

TimeOut 120 ProxyTimeout 120

TimeOut 120 ProxyTimeout 120
