Customs officer Gong Qian was processing an export declaration for dumbbell sets to Vietnam. With the Hangzhou Asian Games underway, Yiwu's sports goods exports have experienced explosive growth.

体育用品出口创5年新高

Sports Exports Hit 5-Year Record

义乌海关数据显示,2023年1-8月体育用品出口达50.8亿元,创近5年新高。其中对亚洲国家出口14.2亿元,同比增长12.7%

Customs statistics show Yiwu's January-August 2023 sports goods exports reached 5.08 billion yuan, a 5-year high. Exports to Asian countries totaled 1.42 billion yuan, up 12.7% year-on-year.

国际商贸城三区聚集着600-700家体育用品商户。足球、篮球成为最畅销商品,部分外商甚至愿意支付高价采用空运方式加快交付。

The trade zone hosts 600-700 sports goods vendors. Footballs and basketballs are top sellers, with some foreign buyers opting for expensive air freight for faster delivery.

亚运会带动民间体育赛事,奖杯奖牌成为刚需。"金尊奖杯"今年内销10多万个,已恢复至2019年水平。

The Games have spurred amateur tournaments, making trophies essential. "Golden Cup" has sold 100,000+ domestically, matching 2019 levels.

乒乓球拍和羽毛球拍销量最佳,大成体育内贸额增长20-30%。"这些是我国传统优势项目,群众基础好",负责人蒋红仙解释。

Table tennis and badminton rackets lead sales, with Dacheng Sports seeing 20-30% domestic growth. "These are China's traditional strengths with mass appeal," explained Jiang Hongxian.

Surprise Hit Peripheral Products

徽章、国旗脸贴和望远镜成为亚运"社交货币"。部分徽章订单达5万件,国旗贴纸获中亚五国重复采购。

Pins, flag stickers and binoculars became Asian Games "social currency". Some pin orders reached 50,000 units, with Central Asian countries reordering flag stickers.

"望远镜订单明显增多,印度、日韩客户有时订上万个",商户陈嘉佳表示赛事带动了整个亚洲地区的相关需求。

"Binocular orders surged, with Indian, Japanese and Korean clients sometimes ordering 10,000+ units," said vendor Chen Jiajia, noting event-driven regional demand.
