Vice Minister of the General Administration of Customs Wang Lingjun stated that China's foreign trade performance in 2023 exceeded expectations, achieving the goals of stabilization and quality improvement. China is expected to maintain its position as the world's largest goods trading nation for the seventh consecutive year. Notably, foreign trade showed a clear upward trend in the fourth quarter, with December's import and export volume reaching 3.81 trillion yuan, setting a new monthly high for the year.
"新三样"产品出口表现亮眼：电动载人汽车、锂离子蓄电池和太阳能电池合计出口1.06万亿元，首次突破万亿元大关，增长29.9%。其中新能源汽车出口177.3万辆，增长67.1%，平均每出口3辆汽车就有1辆是电动载人汽车。
Outstanding performance of "New Three" product exports: Electric passenger vehicles, lithium-ion batteries, and solar cells collectively achieved exports of 1.06 trillion yuan, surpassing the trillion yuan mark for the first time, with a growth rate of 29.9%. Among them, new energy vehicle exports reached 1.773 million units, up 67.1%, meaning one out of every three exported vehicles was an electric passenger car.
中国机电产品进出口商会新闻发言人高士旺表示，中国机电产品出口展现出强劲韧性，这主要基于中国在机电行业产业链完整、产业规模、技术创新等方面的综合性优势。2023年，中国出口机电产品13.92万亿元，增长2.9%，占出口总值的58.6%。
Gao Shiwang, spokesperson for the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products, stated that China's machinery and electronic product exports have demonstrated strong resilience, primarily due to China's comprehensive advantages in complete industrial chains, production scale, and technological innovation in the machinery and electronics sector. In 2023, China exported 13.92 trillion yuan worth of machinery and electronic products, an increase of 2.9%, accounting for 58.6% of total export value.
